Ern is the local wizard. Who’d have thought that kinesiology would be so well received in Innisfail?

Ern introduced himself to the lovely ladies at “Health, Healing & Harmony” in town. It’s a local shop/café specialising in organic produce and natural therapies, with rooms to rent upstairs for practitioners. Ern put his details on the information board on Thursday. He had a client booked within hours for the next day. He is now up to three clients already and word is spreading fast about his wizarding skills.

Daph thinks that this is the reason The Universe brought us to Innisfail... so Ern can fix the weather by removing the negative charge from the residents. Baby steps. It’ll be sunny before you know it.

Daph finished her run of six early shifts and survived with only minor injuries (bloody migraines). No baby catches, but a bit of an adrenalin rush with two transfers out, and a general ward shift, where Daph had to get a handle on adult-sized nappies and old men that wanted to rub moisturiser on their “nuts”. Sure.

Ern had a busy week, working his miracles and changing lives. And he has twice as many bookings for next week. Word travels fast in small towns.

We squeezed in time to catch the end of the Innisfail Show and marvelled at the freaky prize-winning chickens, and the banana packing contest. Small-town entertainment... it’s a blast a minute.

And, lo-and-behold, THE SUN IS SHINING!! Yay for sunny days off!
