NASA Skylab crash

Exactly one week after the Kombi broke down, we find ourselves back at the scene of the crime, Balladonia. Ern has been dubious the whole way here. Balladonia is the mental block. If we can make it past here, we’ve shifted the curse.

It’s an apt place to break down. The NASA Skylab crash-landed here in 1979. Various vehicle malfunctions feature in the museum here, which is now open to the public. Yay! The Kombi deserves a place in the exhibits. She’s pretty enough to belong in a museum. But she’s got a few kilometres left in her yet. Onwards to Eucla.
